Kourtney Tapnio is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Masters in Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and undergraduate degree at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. She has over 20 years of experience. She also gained experience as a combat medic in the United States Air Force.
As a registered nurse, she worked as a clinical charge nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center on the Neuro-oncology unit, as well as a Nursing Off-Shift Administrator. She gained psychiatric experience working within Forensic Psychiatry at Montgomery County Mental Health Facility.
Kourtney is a certified neuroscience registered nurse and a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Neuroscience Nurses and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
